Empathy Doll Emil Emotional Doll 50 cm (30.2013.00.RUB)

Born in Sweden, the Empathy Dolls line consists of completely natural and beautiful Therapeutic Dolls, created with the intent of stimulating empathy and emotions in children and adults.

“Doll Therapy” plays a very important role for Alzheimer's patients, ranking among the top Non-Pharmacological Therapies.

The structure of Empathy Dolls, through carefully studied features, specific facial traits, a movable neck, and weight distribution in the back of the body, encourages empathetic identification and provides a stimulus to overcome apathy and open up to others.

They are used for the therapeutic purpose of awakening people's reactions, promoting contact, and becoming authentic transitional objects in play and therapy.

They provide attentive therapists/caregivers with enormous opportunities to read fundamental moments related to the guest's personal and emotional history.

Therapeutic Objectives

Motor skills: stimulate manipulation, grasping, and releasing; promote sensory stimuli that can bring pleasure and relaxation to ease muscle tension.
Cognitive skills: reinforcement of body schema and long-term memory.
Relational skills: stimulation of language, storytelling, and reminiscence. Reinforcement of empathy, maternal instinct, and the processing of emotions that lead the person to relax and calm down. Sharing emotions with other guests.
